We Live in the Results Economy. Not to think so is naive. We’re in a day and age where jobs are being outsourced to other countries. And people are even getting replaced with computers. If you want to win in this game, you’ve got to stay ahead!
6 Ways to Create Greater Results in Your Life
Number One: Get Clear
I learn a phrase years ago that has followed me in business and I use it all the time! “Cash Follows Clarity.” The more clear you can get about something. The more you fine tune you get with your goals, the sooner you will get to the Cashflow! So write the vision, and make it plain on tablets so that those who may read it may run! Habakkuk 2:2
Number Two: Schedule Time for I.P.A.
What is IPA? Income-producing activity. This is the part that moves the needle. Without income-produci
ng activity everything else is just busy work. In fact most of the time everything else IS just busy work. What is income-producing activity for us? Sharing what you have in the presence of a prospect. Or launching the new people in your team. Both of those things help grow your business and create duplication.
Number Three: Mobilize Your Troops.
If it’s more than just you in your team, then you have other people that you need to bring along with you for the ride. Let them know where they are at and how they can get to the next level, or earn the next bonus. Make sure you have your people running and that they have a target that they’re aiming at.
Number Four: Take Advantage of the Promotions.
We have such a great profession! Free trip giveaways contest, product promotions, bonus cars! You name, it we’ve got it! Be sure that you always get whatever is up for grabs on the table. Lead by example and you get to benefit in the process!
Number Five: Take Time to Think.
We live in a society that doesn’t seem to value thinking very much anymore. Everyone just wants to be spoon-fed their information off of YouTube. But doing critical thinking for yourself is an invaluable asset in this day in age. Jim Rohn put it like this, he called it P. D.C.A. This stands for plan, do, check, adjust. It’s so very important to take time and think about where you are at in the whole scheme of things.
Where are you at in your business? How are things going? Are you happy with your results, or are there some things that you want to change? All of these things take critical thinking. Do the work and you’ll get the rewards.
Number 6: Recharge.
Remember to “keep the main thing… the main thing”. You’re building this business to have a life, have fun, to spend time with your family and those that you care about! Don’t forget about them as you rise to the top in your company. Remember to bring them along with you on the journey. Often times it’s easy to get so focus on success that we forget about how important certain things are in our life. We miss the piano recital. We missed the soccer game. We miss the things that are important and those are things that you can never get back. So while you want to be laser focus when you’re working. You also want to keep your priorities straight, recharge your battery, spend time with those that you love and then get back to work. Work smart, play hard!
