Have You Ever Had a Situation… where you spent all this time talking to a prospect… You show them the plan. And they say they love it!… Love the company, love the leadership, love the products, but then the kicker comes… Then they tell you “they want to wait”! Doesn’t that make you want to scream! LOL! Anybody that’s out there building has definitely been thru a scenario like this! The question is what the heck do you do when you get in this type of situation? We’re going to talk about a couple of options and give you some tools so you can put in your arsenal. The next time you have a prospect and they tell you “They Want to Wait”.
Consider this… For Every Advantage that the Prospect May Come Up With, There is an Equally Great Disadvantage. For example if they say they want to wait because they will have more time. But there’s a promotion that’s going on with your company and if they wait longer they won’t be able to get in on it. Then you can bring that up. Whatever it is it they tell you is the reason they want to wait. Think about why that could actually work against them. If you can think on your toes, and share it with them, they may consider what you are sharing and decide to move forward NOW!
A Great Way to Bring it up is to be Very Non-Confrontational. And just say “have you considered”… And share your point of view. You might give them enough reasons to change their mind for the moment. Now those are all people for the future.
What About the People You’ve Talked to in the Past? What do you do with those people? Well it’s definitely time to circle back around with them. Remember that on average it takes numerous “touches” for someone to actually commit to buy. Just think for yourself. Did you buy the first time you saw your company? I didn’t! We actually looked at it several times before we decided to get started. So your prospect may be feeling the same way. You want to get multiple exposures so but the odds of them saying “yes” increase. What could this look like? Watch this short video to learn all about it!
