Have you ever wondered how to build your business if you don’t have much time?
Well this may be a question you have for yourself…Or perhaps you’ve heard it from a prospect before. In fact, I think it is a great problem to have! It can help you to have excellent posture! The less time you have , the more selective you become! So let’s talk about six specific areas that can help you if you’re building a business with very little time…
Tip Number 1:Be Strategic. Decide who you want to work with, both for your prospects and also for your team. Don’t just work with people in your team because they’ve been there for a long time. You must work with the “go getters”. Jim Rohn says “you can lead a thousand, but you can’t carry three on your back.” So be strategic with who you work with. If you’re going to have to drag someone, it is better find someone else to work with.
Tip Number 2: Focus on the “Vital Behaviors”. What are “Vital Behaviors”? These are the things that really cause growth in your business. Many times the more time people have to do them, the less they do! They mess around with things that don’t actually cause growth. What do you want to focus on? Sharing what you have with prospects, and launching your new people. Those are the two biggest things that cause growth in your business. Keep those first, and you’ll get ahead fast!
Tip Number 3: Recruit Up! If there’s one phrase that can impact your recruiting, it’s this… “If you focus on quality, they will bring quantity”. Oftentimes people build their business and they have a revolving door. People get in and people get out. You put another one in, and another person falls out. If you focus on quality it will help solve that problem. What are we looking for people that are upwardly-mobile. People that are already moving in that direction and you happen to get in front of their path. “Connectors” people that know a lot of other people. Pastors, teachers, coaches, business owners, that is who were looking for.
Tip Number Four: Prequalify People. What does this mean? Well there’s a couple different ways to go about it. If you have a long list, first of all you want to cherry-pick the top people on that list. People of High Caliber, like we were just talking about. The second thing is you want to ask them the qualifying question. “Do they keep their options open for making money outside of what they do?” If you ask that question you will have a general idea as if somebody is open to hearing what you have. They will only say “yes, no or what is it”. If you get “yes”, or “what is it” go for a one-to-one meet up.
Tip Number 5: Get Your Leaders to Fill in the Gap. If you look at any great leaders they do not do 
everything on their own. Instead they have other very skilled and capable people around them. That is exactly what you want to create with your team as well. Find leaders that can help fill in the gap for you especially when you’re not able to do so yourself.
Tip Number 6: Get After IT! I love this! Many times people think that just by hanging on for dear life eventually they will get there. Wrong!!! When you see an airplane taking off on the runway they don’t just mosey along for 50 miles and hope they finally get in the air! No they jam that thing in to high gear! Put out a lot of pressure… a lot of force… a lot of activity and finally the plane will lift off the ground! Your business is the same way. For you to go to the top, for you to retire out of the job that is taking all your time right now. For you to get out of the “time for dollars” exchange… You have got to go Full Throttle!
Will it be uncomfortable? Absolutely! Never did a leader come along and do something of great significance who did not push the envelope in their own life first.
Just remember this the next time you feel out of balance, or like it’s a lot on your plate… It is! However, you if you really want to get free. You have to get away from a non leverage way of earning income. Out of all the resources we have, time is the most precious. Money you can get more of, things you can get more of, time you will never have again. If you continue to exchange your life, for somebody else’s dollars, at some point you will look up and wish you had done something about it. Here is your chance! Now is your time! Seize the day! And let’s go make Your Dreams Become Reality!
