We are in a Party Business!
We get paid to have fun, share our product and party with our friends! So let’s talk about how you can give the best home party invite so that you can get more friends over, and help more people!
The quality of the “invitation” is SUPER important! It is really going to set the tone for how successful that home party is going to be. There’s a couple of different ways that we can contact. We can call, we can text, we can Facebook. It doesn’t really matter HOW we contact… It’s just a matter that we do!
Sometimes people will be concerned… maybe they have a small home and they don’t want to have too many people over. They don’t want to run out of chairs or space. M
ore times than not, that’s not a problem… Usually about 25% of the people they invite will actually show up.
Network Marketing Invite Scripts:
So…What do we say when we’re actually going to contact someone? I usually will start off and say…
“Hey what’s going on… How are you? Listen, I jus have a minute to talk, but what do you have going on on Thursday night? (The night of the party.)
Most people are usually pretty straightforward. They’ll say “Hey I’m taking my son to soccer practice”. or they’ll say… “Nothing… Why, what’s going on?”
That’s your chance to jump in… “Hey, Book your calendar… you’re coming to my house… I’m having a get-together with some of my friends. I came across something, looks like we can help some people, and we can make some money. Can I count you in?”
Now there’s a couple critical elements to this whole flow of what we say.
STEP #1: Mention you only have a minute. This will safe guard you incase they want to ask questions. This gives you a very polite
way to say you have to go and not get into their questions.
STEP #2: We want to clear the time. Have you ever been with some one and they’re like “Hey I’m having this thing… you gotta come check it out! It’s gonna be so awesome!”…
And you’re like “Yeah… I’ll have to check my calendar.” That’s code for “I’m going to use that as an excuse to weasel out, if I don’t really want to be there.” LOL!
SO—RULE #2 Clear the time. We’re gonna make sure they are free at that time BEFORE you invite them.
STEP #3: Invite. You can choose how you want to invite. One little thing I like to say is…
“Hey we’re having a get-together…I came across something that looks like we can help some people, and make some money… I thought this might be right up your alley! Are you in? Can I count on you to be there?”
OR
“Hey I’ve been taking this product… It’s helped me incredibly with my health. I’d love to share more about it with you. Can I count on you to be at my house on Thursday night?”
OR
“Hey you know what, I’m just getting started on something… I am super excited about it and I have a very successful friend of mine, that is gonna be at my house. I promised I would have a couple friends there. He/She will be sharing on something that’s brand new to the area and is shaping up to PAY BIG! Can I count on you to be there?”
INVITING TIPS:
- It doesn’t really matter what you say… but what ever it is, it needs to be SHORT. Don’t let them start asking you a bunch of questions.
- To thy own self be true. Do what you feel comfortable with. Tailor the invite to be custom to you. You must feel confident in what you are saying.
STEP #3: CONFIRM The last part that is VERY Important is you want to confirm they are coming. How do you do that? Just ask “Hey Can I count you in?” or “Can I count on you to be there?” You want to get some type of “yes” so you know they are coming. If they get iffy and give you a back door excuse like “I’ll let you know” or “I need to check the calendar” … “ask the spouse”, or anything else, then they are 50/50.
What if They Don’t Come? If they don’t come you may want to shift to a 1 to 1 for the next time. Just don’t invite the same person to 4 or 5 home parties. It will feel weird for you and the value of what you are sharing will decrease in the eyes of your prospect. Just shift to a 1 to 1 if they cannot make the first 2 home parties you invite them to.
