Many entrepreneurs and network marketers have a goal of one Day become a millionaire! It’s fun, it’s exciting, it’s adventurous! But what are Millionaires really like? What type of thinking do they have? What sets them apart?
We are going to review the top 10 distinctions between Millionaires and the middle class this is based on the book by Keith Cameron Smith. So let’s get into it!
TOP 10 Distinctions Between Millionaires and the Middle Class
Distinction #1: Millionaires think long-term… the middle class thinks short-term. This is big because often times people look at things in the “here and now” but they don’t consider the long-term ramifications and benefits and the consequences. Thinking long-term helps you look at things from a different perspective and really consider what is the best move for you and your family. In some of the Asian countries the write 100 Year Plans. Try that on for size! LOL!
Distinction #2: Millionaires Talk About Ideas, The Middle Class Talks About Things and Other People. You usually know a person by their talk! Millionaires focus their efforts on and brainpower on ideas that move them forward. The middle class is stuff on people drama and inconsequential things that don’t matter much in the long run.
Distinction #3: Millionaires Embrace Change, while the Middle Class is Threatened By It. We all know change is constant and change is inevitable. The millionaires look at change and embrace it as new opportunity! While the middle class dreads it and wants to run from it.
Distinction #4: Millionaires Take Calculated Risks the while the middle class is Afraid to Take Risks. Taking risks is an essential part of growth. If not we would all just say the same. Deciding to move forward with a decision after weighing the fact and deciding that it makes sense. This is a great way to go.
Distinction #4: Millionaires Continually Learn and Grow while the Middle Class Thinks Learning Ended with School. This is BIG! You’ve got to grow you got to get better you got it improve. If the last book you read was in high school, many years ago, then it’s time to get with the program! Commit to constantly learning and growing. You will be amazed at how far you can go!
Distinction #6: Millionaires Work for Profits and the Middle Class Works for Wages Jim 
Rohn said it best when he said “profits are better than wages.” Find a way to get yourself in a position to earn a profit! Network marketing is a great way to do that since you have all the benefits of “Big Business” Without the capital required to start up.
Distinction #7: Millionaires Believe They Must Be Generous…The Middle Class Believes They Can’t Afford to Give. There’s a verse in the Bible that says “a generous man will prosper, he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed” Proverbs 11:25. When you are generous reciprocity comes back to bless you. Be generous and you will be greatly rewarded.
Distinction #8: Millionaires Have Multiple Sources of Income While the Middle Class Only has One or Two Ways to Get Paid. This is big! If the only way you get paid is your job, that leaves you and your family open for risk. Start establishing multiple sources of income. Grant Cardone, Robert Kiyosaki and many other financial experts are huge proponents of this!
Distinction #9: Millionaires Focus on Increasing their Net Worth, While the Middle Class Focuses on Increasing Their Paycheck. This is huge! Have you ever noticed how companies will finance things to you month to month or week-to-week! Can you even imagine! You must focus on the longer bigger picture. How can you increase your overall net worth. There’s assets and liabilities, there is income and there is expenses. What can you do to increase your net worth?
Distinction #10: Millionaires Ask Empowering Questions While the Middle Class Asks the Wrong Question. Questions are the answer! When you start asking the right questions you will start getting the right answer! Your brain is powerful and magnificent! If you ask it disempowering questions, it will serve it up to you. If on the other hand you ask it empowering questions, it will give that to you as well! Choose the empowering path!
