Leadership is the name of the game… Everything rises and falls on leadership… What does it mean to be a leader in Network Marketing? You Do What Needs to be done. Its not about being perfect, but it is about moving forward! By just doing something, you are making a step in the right direction!
Now this may sound very strange. But odds are high that no one is going to ask you to lead. You just need to STEP UP to the plate and go for it!
What do leaders do?
Leaders Are Pace Setters—They show their team what they should do by modeling the behavior. Not only by telling their team but by being the best example they know how to be.
One thing you want to watch out for is the Trap of Management Mode. You don’t want to sit on your eggs like a mother hen waiting for the them to hatch. That will seem like fun for a little while… but before you know it frustration will set in because they are not doing what you want. Not moving as fast as you are hoping. This is simply because we are telling them instead of showing them.
Leaders Anticipate the needs and fill in the gap. If there is a problem or something needs to be done. You just get on it. No one needs to tell you. You think ahead and prepare for what may be needed.
What does this look like in a group event…
- Treat it like it is your event- greet people as they arrive
- Pass out info to the guests
- Prepare and Serve Your Product
Leaders Are Awesome Promoters– They Promote Events, Move Tickets and Push Company Promotions
Leaders Inspire Others-They cast the vision… The vision for what is possible… What is possible for the company… the team …and most importantly for each person individually.
They speak life. They speak to the potential of what could be. How that prospect or teammate could revolutionize their life if they really when for it!
Leadership is influence.
Barbara Corcoran from the Shark Tank, a business woman with an 80 million dollar net worth. Says… Phenomenal Leaders can rally people to join the parade. They can inspire other people to get involved and jump aboard the momentum.
