Wouldn’t Be Awesome if it were Super Easy to Prospect? If there was something that was simple… If there was something that was easy to remember… And if it was almost second nature to do… Well there is!
Have You Ever Been Out and About? You might have been at the mall, going to the movies, or even just running errands. And someone dropped you a compliment? Didn’t you get a great feeling? Did it make you feel awesome, just because a stranger said something nice? And even though you don’t know them, did it make you naturally inclined to like them? Of course! Well you can use that whole idea, which is just our natural way of being, to your benefit. You can use it to prospect for your business! So let’s talk about how you can do super easy Prospecting.
Here are the 4 Simple Steps:
Step Number One: Identify who you want to attract into your business. Who is your target market? What 
do they look like? What’s their age group? You want to keep your antenna up for some one you think could have potential.
Step Number Two: Drop a compliment. You might say that you liked their hair, their purse, their tie, their shoes… it doesn’t really matter. As long as long as it is genuine and authentic it will come through the way we’re looking for.
Step Number Three: Make the connection. Your goal is to use the compliment as a way to open the door and connect with that person. You want to carry on the conversation from there so that you can build rapport and eventually get around to what you really want to ask.
Step Number Four: Ask if they’re open. You want to get to the point and ask if they may be open for making money outside of what they currently do.
The Script: You might bring that up by saying… “Hey, I know this may seem really random. But you seem like a really sharp and outgoing person. I have a business and right now I’m expanding. I can’t make any promises, but do you happen to keep your options open for other ways of making money outside of what you do?”
The more you ask that type of question… The more opportunities you have for people to say yes!
Next time you’re out and about try the Four Simple Steps to Super Easy Prospecting. It’s something that you’ll be able to do naturally! And even if you only make it through the first couple steps that’s okay! You can give them a go the next time around. Before you know it prospecting will be second nature while you’re out and about!
