Do you ever wonder why you keep getting the price objection? You’re out there building your business… showing the plan, and it seems like time and time again people keep saying it’s too expensive! Have you ever thought about Why??? Perhaps there something you can do about it? Wouldn’t it be great if you could avoid this objection all together? Well you can!
Oftentimes we have an absolutely amazing product. That helps in so many different areas. And it could really transform your prospects life. However they’re just not getting it! Like they don’t grasp the value of what you have to offer!
Perhaps the value does not connect with them. What do I mean by that?… Well when you think about buying a car there all different kinds of cars out there, we have Hyundai, Honda, Toyota, Lexus, BMW, Mercedes, Tesla. There is the full range from the Hyundai to the Tesla.
So here is a little food for thought…The people that buy the Tesla, are not the same people they go shopping for a Hyundai. Are you with me? Like if you have an awesome bootie kickin’ product and you are going after the wrong target market. (People that don’t value those things at the same weight.) You are going to get the price objection! So maybe you’re talking to some Hyundai people about your Tesla product?
Right Target Market?
So perhaps we need to think about if we are going after the right target market… On a scale of 1 to 10—Lets say 1 are people that you are super comfortable with and they’re really not that intimidating. And 10 is the most successful person you know! Like when you talk to them your hands get sweaty and you get butterflies in your stomach. Let’s just say for all intensive purposes they we’re somewhere in the middle. 5, 6, 7 something like that. Your goal when sharing what you have is to talk to people at your income level, and ambition level, and above!
Now oftentimes people feel more comfortable talking with the ones, twos, threes, fours. And then they wonder why they get these objections. It’s because they’re talking to the wrong target! The market people you need to talk to, are the people that fit what it is you have to offer. So if you just increase the caliber of the person that you’re talking to, you will find this objection will literally evaporate! It will not exist! You won’t get it again! So just think about that the next time you get this objection.
Is this really my target market? If so, wonderful! Then you need to add more value to the eyes of your prospect, about what you have to offer. If on the other hand you decide well maybe this person isn’t the right fit for what you have to offer. Then you know why! Take this advice. Use it and apply in your life. When you do you’ll find that this particular objection will literally disappear!
