Do You Ever Wonder How to Prospect Cool People You Meet Out and About? We are all busy. We are all on the go. There are people all around us! Learning how to connect as you go is a key skill that will help you in building your business. Not only will it work great for a busy lifestyle, but it’s actually a lot of fun! So let’s talk about how you can do it!
People are everywhere! They’re all around us! First start by saying “Hi”! Learn to say hello and make 
a friend. Some people you talk to will be friendly and outgoing. Others will turn the cold shoulder. Either way it doesn’t really matter. You just want to connect with the ones that say hello back. If you have a great conversation make it a point to get their contact info. Sometimes you can meet people and prospect them on the spot. Other times you may just make a great connection and you might circle back around and hit them up later. Either way works just fine!
Get Their Contact Info The most important part is that you get their contact info. You can give out all the cards that you want. You can hand out all the product samples that you like. But if you do not get their contact info, the odds of that going anywhere, are slim to none.
Don’t Give Away Your Power! Make sure that you get their contact info. How do you do that? Well a great way is just to simply ask if they have a card… Now you always want to check and make sure that their card has a cell phone number on it. Last thing you want to do is call a chiropractor, doctor or hairdresser and get stuck at the receptionist. So glance and make sure that they have a cell phone number. Now a lot of people will not have a card. Depending on their profession or maybe they’re even a stay-at-home mom. So a great way to connect on up with them is you can friend them on Facebook. Or just hand them your phone and ask for them to put their info in…so you can stay connected. Either way is good.
Follow Up…Then when you call to follow up your goal is to first and foremost to reconnect. Say 
“hello” how great it was to meet them and then at some point bring the conversation around to your business.
A great way to lead into this is just by saying: “Hey, you seem like you have a great personality. And could be fun to work with. Right now I’m expanding my business. This may seem totally random, but do you happen to keep your options open for other ways of making money outside of what you do?” That is a nice simple lead in for the business. Obviously, if you want to aim to connect with them about your product or service then you can go that route also. This whole thing is, it is not about having a scripted or rigid follow up system.
It’s About You Being You! You being genuine, authentic and just being yourself! You are amazing just As You Are! God Made You in his likeness and His Image. There’s only one person on this planet like you! So just be yourself! Reconnect! Be authentic! Be real! And if there’s a connection there, then you can move forward and do some business!
