There Are Two Core Elements to being Successful in Network Marketing.
Part 1 is Activity! These are all the things you normally hear about…contacting, prospecting, showing the plan. You got to get out there and make it happen. You get to get some numbers on the board and really stack the odds in your favor!
But Part 2 is All About YOU! We’ve got to focus on improving who you are as a person – the art of personal 
development!
Jim Rohn says that “Success is not something that you pursue… What you pursue eludes you…. Success is something you attract, by the person you become!”
Now I have to tell you, it took me a long time to really understand that. But it is 100% true! So let’s talk about your personal development and the daily disciplines that are essential for you to knock it out of the park in your network marketing business!
John Maxwell says “If you want to change your life, you must change something that you do on a daily basis.”
Consistency it key! So I suggest that you do these three things each and every day…
Daily Discipline #1: Personal Development.
What is this? These are things like improving your leadership skills, your ability to communicate, handling conflicts, and anything else that helps you improve how you can connect with other people.
Daily Discipline #2: Your Skill Development.
We always have to improve our skills. Be it prospecting, showing the plan, public speaking, 3-way calls. 
Anything that has to do with you performing the activities in business. You can do a lot of activities but if your skills are low, it will be hard to get the results that you’re looking for! So we always have to be working on how we can improve in our business skills.
Daily Discipline #3: Spend Time with Your Creator
This is the last part, and my personal favorite… Spend time with God. In my business God is my partner. And I take orders directly from him. Spend time praying and asking God for wisdom and discernment. Spend time reflecting on areas that you did very well in, and also areas that you need to improve in and change. You might be surprised about this, but God can give you the upper hand and actually give you great favor in the marketplace! He can clue you in on who to talk to, what to say, and give you a positive outcome with people that you meet. You still will have challenges–don’t get me wrong. But if God be for you who dare be against you! The more time you spend with him the more focused and present you will be when you are around other people.
