What Are Your Thoughts About Money? Does a subject make you uncomfortable? Did you grow up with thinking and programming that maybe had some negative connotation around money? Oftentimes we get out there and we have a goal of getting ahead. We have a goal of getting free financially. We have a goal of having nice things and financial Security. But somewhere in the back of our mind we have hang-ups about money! Which is kind of a problem if we want more of it! LOL!
How is your relationship to money?
Many people grew up hearing bad things about it… like money is evil… or rich people are bad… or money doesn’t grow
on trees. It is very hard to push forward and succeed if in the back of your head you have these things telling you that money is bad. Money is not bad.
Money is Simply a Magnifier of Who You Already Are.
It is a tool just like anything else. If somebody is a staunch, nasty, greedy, stingy person. When they get money they will simply be more of that.
If on the other hand, somebody is good, and noble, they’re fighting for their dreams and goals. They have a mission to help others, they have a passion and a purpose that’s bigger than themselves. And they get some money… Well it will simply magnify all that they already are!
In the Bible it says that the “love of money is the root of all evil”. However most people forget the entire sentence. They just say “money is evil”. That’s not true!
It Takes Money to Do Good Things! Do you want to do something good, to give back or perhaps some missionary work. Or maybe contribute to a great cause or foundation. It takes money to do that!
The best way to help the poor, is don’t be poor! You must have success in your finances if you want to do other good things!
In Proverbs is says “A generous man will prosper, he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.” If you are blessed you can be a blessing. It also says that it also says
“This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.” AKA When you do good it is an AWESOME way to show glory to God!
You have amazing potential inside of you! Let go of the things of the past. The negative thought about doing well financially. God wants you to succeed! God wants you to prosper!
