When Ever You Do Home Parties There’s One BIG Challenge… Getting people to show up! What makes any event a success? It’s how many people you have in the seats. How many new prospects do you have to show the opportunity to? Who is hearing about your business for the 1st time! That makes all the difference!
So How Do You Get People to Show Up? First we must understand the circle influence… You’ve heard the phrase “Warm Market” and “Cold Market” well the truth of the matter is, we have different temperatures of influence with different people.
“Very Warm Market”: The people that are closest to you, that you see and 
communicate with all the time, that is your “Very Warm Market”. They know you, and they will probably come to whatever you’re doing JUST based on your relationship.
“Luke Warm Market”: The second group of people is the “Lukewarm Market”. Those are people that you know fairly well, but your influence with them is so-so. They may look more into what you’re doing, or ask more questions.
“People You Don’t Know Well”: And then there’s the people you know, but not well. This might be the person at the dry cleaner, or maybe the grocery store clerk or perhaps your local pizza shop owner… You know of these people, and you may know their name, but perhaps if you call them on the phone it would take them a minute to figure out who you were.
A Home Party is for Your Warm Market. If you invite your “Lukewarm Market” or the people you do not know well, the odds of them showing up are NOT HIGH. You need to “warm them up” a little before inviting them to a home party. Perhaps by placing product… sharing a teaser video… meeting for a 1 to 1 or something along those lines.
So How Do You Have a Successful Home Party? Here is the Invite… Here’s how this may go down.
Home Party Invite Script: “Hey what do you have going on on Thursday night?” The prospect says nothing really… “why?”
You say “Great book your calendar… you’re coming to my place! I’m having a get together with some friends… came across something that looks like we can help some people and make some money and I thought about you. Can I count you in?”
What If They Are Booked? Now this is great if they say they don’t have anything going on. Obviously if they say they’re booked, you’re not going to continue with your invite you can go for a 1 to1 meet up or have them watch the video.
Now What About Everybody Else? What about your “Lukewarm Market” and the people you do not know well? If you invite them to your home party the odds of them coming first time around are not good. So how do you increase those odds? You need to give them some sort of exposure upfront. This might be placing some product with them. This might be meeting them for a 1 to 1. This might be asking them to check out a video. Anything like that. This will help you warm them up and actually move them into your “Warm Market” and get them more comfortable with you and what you’re doing. Watch for more!
