In the day and age we live in, it would be silly not to take advantage a Facebook. It is an awesome tool for connecting with friends from the past as well as meeting new people. Let’s talk about how you can reconnect with people you know that live in different areas.
Step 1: First go to Facebook and open up the section where you can see all of your friends. You want to focus on reaching out to people that would be your power players. People that you know that would be able 
to lead an area without you being there.
Step 2: Get yourself a notebook or open the spreadsheet on your computer or phone. Take notes of who you are messaging and the date. If you have a conversation with them you’re going to want to put what happened in the notes section and set a time for follow-up. If you are using excel, make sure you set a time for follow up and keep it in a separate column so you can always sort based on that.
Step 3: Open the Conversation. We’re going to talk about the “Do’s and the Don’ts”!
The “Do’s”: You just want to open up the conversation with people that you know. “Hey how’s it going? It’s been forever! How have you been?” Or you might say “wow looks like you just went to on a trip! Looks like great fun! So great to see you online! It has been ages since we talked!” Look at their profile and if there’s something that you can comment on in your message. This will help you to have a better response rate, especially with people that you haven’t spoken with in a while. The goal is to share two or three sentences at most. Just say hello and wait for a response just like any normal conversation in person.
The “Don’t”: You don’t want to send a long paragraph to someone. Also you never want to include your link, especially when you’re just saying “hi”. Last off, no business right out the gate. Your purpose is to reconnect and based on how that goes you can take the conversation wherever it seems appropriate!
You never want to be like one of those people that seem spammy. You know the ones! They send a huge long message with a link and business stuff in there. It just looks ghetto. No one likes to get those messages…
If all goes well and conversation is good, then that is the time to bring up business. If you get to the point where they are open to hearing more about what you do, then you can send them a video.
Before the Video: Now there’s one thing you always want to remember BEFORE you share the video. 
You want to ask this question “If I… will you?” There’s how it goes… “If I send you this video will you promise to watch it and give me your feedback?” When you ask that you are setting yourself up for the follow-up conversation. It’s very important that you ask that first and not just send them the link.
How to Set Your Follow Up Time: Then before you send it you’d say you want to dial in on a Follow up Time. Get something set up to where you will circle back around with them after they watch the video. Here is how you do that…
“The video is about 10 minutes long. Do you have a minute to watch it now, or when would you have some time?” Once they give you a follow-up time say “awesome let’s talk after you’re done. what’s the best number to reach you at?”. Then you have your time and a follow-up phone number. Then you send the link with your video.
The Follow Up: What happens next during your follow-up is very important we want to expose, involved, upgrade. Before you call them back, you may want to reach out to one of your upline support leaders to see if they would be available for a 3 way call. Just let them know you have a call back scheduled and you may need them for backup. That way they’re ready in case you need them.
When you do call them back there’s one question that you need to ask. “What did you like most about what you saw?” Your goal is to find out exactly what they liked. Be it the product, the business, your car program. Whatever it is! Watch the video for the full scoop and more details on how to wrap things up!
