Don’t You Hate it When You Get an Objection? They don’t have the money, they don’t have the time, they want to talk to their spouse… Need to do the research… Want to think about it. They want to try your product…. And anything else you can possibly think of!
Next Time You Get an Objection You Can Smile! Because objections are just a request for more information! If you get an objection it actually means they want to know more! Versus saying no and leaving! LOL! So let’s talk about some ways that you can handle these the next time you get an objection.
Here is the good news! You don’t have to be pushy. And you don’t have to be some kind of Jedi Warrior! You don’t have to know everything about your company or your product. Here are two different ways that you can handle objections and they will cover every objection that you’ve ever gotten…
How to Handle ANY OBJECTION:
Option 1: “The Feel, Felt, Found, Method” The first way is use the feel, felt, found. Method here’s how this works. Someone says something to you like “I just don’t think I have the time.” And you respond with “You know… I understand how you feel… I felt the same way before too! Let me tell you what I found… And you proceeded to tell them your story
Here’s how this might sound “You know what, I understand how you feel. I felt the same way before too! But here’s what I found… I realized that if I was always working all the time. And I never seemed to have time for myself. And I never seemed to have time to play with my kids. And I was basically just working to support my bosses dreams and goals. That if I didn’t do something about it, I would completely burned out and I would never get ahead!… So here’s what I found. I made a decision to do something about it. I made a decision to not continue to live in a way where I was building someone else’s future– Instead of my own. I started building this business part-time and in the time that I DID have! And in my first 30 days I made it an extra $1,300 for myself and my family. That was three months ago since then I’ve helped other people do the exact same thing and now I’m driving a car then my company pays for!
I can totally see how if I just continue down the road I can be free financially! I can have all the time that I’m looking for! To spend the time with my kids, my husband, and to do the things that I really want to do! Best off I’ll be able to fire my boss! That’ll be the day!”
That’s just one thing you can use to rebuttal objections. The “Feel, Felt, Found Method” is very effective because you’re just speaking from your own experience!
Option 2: The Story Method. Here’s another thing that you can use. It’s all about sharing stories. Did you know that story tellers are the highest paid people in our profession! The better you are sharing stories, the more you get paid! So here’s how it works… Somebody gives you some kind of an objection— the price, they want to research it, they have some question about some minor ingredient. You know what I’m talking about. So here is your answer and it works every time!
Prospect Gives an Objection
“I don’t know about all that…. All I know is….and you share a Story.”
So here’s how this might sound…
Prospect—“Can you tell me what part of Africa the special blueberry comes from in your ingredients. Also I want to know what is the source of your plastic that you use.”
This is a silly question from your prospect. Here is your answer.
“I don’t know about all that, all I know is my mom got started on the product and she started feeling amazing! She knew that the antioxidants would help her from the blueberries, but she didn’t know how it all works. She had some major issues with her health before, but now she’s been on it for 3 weeks. She has more energy than ever before. She got off of coffee! Which is a big deal for us! And she so excited to see what the check about her doctor has to say when she goes in next week for her check up!”
This works for just about anything! You can get any objection under the sun and this is a very simple non pushy way to handle it. Just answer “I don’t know about all of that… All I know is… and Share your story!” Once you get these two objection rebuttals down you will be good to go and you can handle anything that comes your way!
