How to Get Prospects to Show Up at a Home Party? If you are in a business where you host events and home parties, there’s one common theme the presents itself as a challenge… Getting people to show up! What makes any event a success? How many people you have in the seats! How many new prospects do you have the opportunity to share your business with. That makes all the difference!
So How Do You Get People to Show Up? First we must understand the circle influence. You heard the phrase “Warm Market” and “Cold Market” will the truth of the matter is, we have different temperatures of influence with different people. The people that are closest to you, that you see and communicate with all the time, that you’re Very Warm Market. They know you, and they will probably come to whatever you’re doing just based on your relationship.
The Second Group of People is the Lukewarm Market. Those are people that you know fairly well, but your influence with them is 50-50. They may look more into what you’re doing or ask more questions. And then there’s the people you know, but not well. This might be the person at the dry cleaner, or maybe your cashier at the grocery store. You know of these people and you may know their name but perhaps if you called them on the phone it would take them a minute to figure out who you were.
A Home Party is for Your Very Warm Market. If you invite your Lukewarm Market or the people you do not know, well the odds of them showing up are remote. So what do you do? Lets talk about your very warm market, and then we will get in to do with the other 2.

How do you get your Very Warm Market to show up? Here is what to say…
“Hey what do you have going on, on Thursday night?”
Prospect: “nothing…why?”
You: “Great book your calendar… You’re coming to my place. I’m having a get together with some friends. I came across something that looks like we can help some people, and make some money. And I thought about you…Can I count you in?”
Prospect: “Ok”
You: “Sounds good- let me text you my address. See you then!”
Now this is great if they say they don’t have anything on the day of your party. Obviously, if they say they’re booked, you’re not going to continue with your invite. You can go for a 1 to 1 meet up or have them watch the video. Now what about everybody else?
What about Your Lukewarm Market and The People You Do Not Know Well? If you invite them to your home party the odds of them coming are very low. So how do you increase those odds? You need to give them some sort of exposure upfront. This might be placing some product with them. This might be meeting him for a 1 to 1. This might be asking him to check out a video. Anything like that…
This will help you warm them up and actually move them into your warm Market. The more comfortable they get with you and what you’re doing, the more likely it will be that that they show up!
