The Speed of Your Growth is the Speed of Your Implementation! In business it is very easy to get stuck focusing on all sorts of things! We’re learning new skills, getting more organized, getting the product together, getting brochures in place. And all that’s fine and dandy. But at the end of the day there’s one thing that moves the needle… Getting more people to see what you have!

Let’s talk about how this plays out… Typically there’s two types of people…#1 is The Procrastinator. They have lost of great things they want to do, but never quite get around to it! Then there is person #2 and that is the person that gets Overwhelmed. They’re great at getting things done, they just feel like they have so much stuff on their plate that they don’t know where to begin! So let’s talk about these.
The Procrastinator. There are people who feel that they want to know everything! They want to know about the product, they wanted to let the compensation plan, they want to know about prospecting, they want to know about presenting, they just want to know everything! Almost like they’re going to get a PhD in Network Marketing. And that’s great! But you actually need to know very little to be successful in what we do! You just need the basics!
There’s something to be said for getting out there and doing it! Do you remember the first time you drove a car. You might have spent all this time studying to get your permit, but the time you got behind the wheel and actually we’re in control of the vehicle… that was a whole different thing! The sooner that we can get to that part of the business, the faster things are going to go.
Don’t Get Stuck in the “Land of Learning”. There are two parts to learning “learned knowledge” which is what you learn in a book. And then “Activity Knowledge” which is what you learn by doing.
I don’t know about you, but most people learn so much more by doing it, than anything they could ever possibly read!
If You’re Concerned About Not Being Good or Failing… That’s great! Expect to not be good! If you’re good the first time you do it then you waited way too long to start! Understand that it’s going to get messy, you’re not going to be great when you start. But it’s part of the process! It’s going through the learning process that makes you good!
Person #2 Feels Overwhelmed All the Time. They have 10 million things I want to accomplish…Everything is halfway in motion… but where do they actually put their focus. If that’s you here are a couple of 1-2-3’s to release the pressure of having to feel like you have to do everything!
First and foremost, write everything down on paper that you want to do… everything just get it out of your mind and onto a page.
Step Number Two: Order the importance of what needs to be done. Some things need to be done immediately. While others are more long-term projects that you would like to get around to.
Step Three: After everything is ordered, put the list away. Then just start with item Number One. Release all the other things that were swimming around in your brain and just focus on one thing and getting it done.
When you do this, you’re going to have a great release and feel much more peace of mind.
At the end of the day it’s about Taking Massive Action Not Perfect Action the more you get out there and you take action the more results you’re going to have in your business. Watch the short video to hear more…
