Are You Talking To the Right People For Your Biz? Do you ever feel unsure? Like you just don’t know if you’re talking to the right people? There are a couple of sure tell signs… And there’s a couple common misconceptions. Today we’re going to talk about them so you can have a clear vision of who you’re looking for and what you can expect to take place.
The List. When you first get started we all are told to start by making “your list” of connections. You want to go through your phone, your Facebook, your email list and anything else that has a list 必利勁
of people. You want to write down your “candidate list” get them out of your mind and put them on paper.
The BIG MYTH… Here’s where it gets a little tricky. Often times people begin with the people they think “need” the product. For example lets say you are promoting a health and nutrition supplement… you begin looking for sick people… Or someone that needs to lose weight… Or someone that you know is into health… And they would be a perfect product user. And while that’s great, one of our primary goals is always, always, always to duplicate ourselves.
It’s All About the Duplication… In the beginning it’s just you getting started. One of your first major accomplishments will be when you create a team for yourself. It only takes one person to join you and now you have a team. Now you have duplicated and we’re ready to really get the party started.
If you only focus on looking for product users, or people that “need it” then it is not as likely that they will join you to do the business. Does that make sense?
BIG MYTH #2 The second thing that often times people will do is focus on all the broke people. You have your cousin and they have been out of work for 18 months. Or you have a friend who is always short on cash and you think they would be perfect! Again we are back to focusing on those who “Need It”. They may “need” what you have… But do they want it?
Do They Have the Money To Get Started? And furthermore are they able to buy it? You’re looking for someone that should they like what you show them, that they would have the financial resources to get started and enroll on your Top Starter pack. This is Very Key! It’s Super Important! If not, you’re just spinning your wheels! You’re talking to people that either don’t want what you have… Or if they “want it” they can’t buy it, because they have no money.
So How Does that Help You? They may be low-hanging fruit and they feel super easy to talk to. But up your game. And up the caliber of the people you’re talking to and it’s going to pay you big in the long run! Remember you’re running a business. I know, New Concept right! This is not some little thing we are doing on the side this is something that can set you free financially… So decide to make it that and focus on people that could be an asset to your business. People that want more for them selves also! Watch this video for more info!
