When most people get started in Network Marketing a friend shows them what they have … and then they just move forward from there. But if you really plan on doing it big and spending a considerable amount of time and energy on something it only makes sense to really check it out 1st!
Six Things to Cross Check…
Leadership. Who are the leaders at the Helm of the ship? What do they stand for? How do they do business? Do their values match up with your own? If so, awesome! Check that off your list!
Compensation Plan. Do they pay good when you talk? How easy is it for the new person getting started to make money?
Product. Is the product something that many people would want? Is it gender-specific? Is it something that people would get results with? Are there other close competitors that might rival you or does it pretty much standalone? Is it a consumable that will need to be replaced? Or is it a one-time sale? All things to consider…
Price Point. Is it something that people can afford? Would you pay that much for the product if you were just a customer? You may not want to limit your audience because of the price of your product. If you have a high-ticket item will rule out most of the population. If you have an item that is considered expensive compared to other items in the same category then give that careful consideration before saying yes.
Market Timing. Market timing is key! It’s actually really important! There are two things to look at… The timing in the Market at large, like what is going on in the rest of the network marketing world. What are the other companies out there doing what you do? Are there five or six other similar competitors? Or is this something that pretty much stands on its own? That will give you some good Clues as to if you want to jump in or not.
The second thing to look at is Company Timing. Is it’s a company that’s been around 30 or 50 years? Or is this something that has is new enough to where you could take advantage of some initial momentum? As for start ups… they might be very alluring, however most of them don’t make it. So find something that’s past the initial startup phase and is older than two years.
System. What is the plan for people that build the business? Is there an organized system that people can run on…track to get results? Or is this each man for himself? System is key and your success and the success of your team.
If you cross if you cross check the six areas and use them as a benchmark for making decisions that will help you make a wise decision when it comes to joining a company or evaluating one you are already working with. Watch here for more info…
