How to Increase Income in Business
#1 Always Be Growing Your List!
So many times I see Network Marketers that make their list 1 TIME! OMG! As a Professional you will make your list HUNDREDS of TIMES!! And the most important part is you must add to it daily! Always be growing your list! How can you do this?
- Get in New Places- Join a club, civic group or volunteer. Get involved with your church. Be apart of something you like anyways and you can happen to make some new friends in the process! Like a Running Group, Poker Club or “Mommies” Group.
- Life Style Prospecting- I do this ALL THE TIME!! Always have your radar up for sharp people you can meet that may be a good fit for your business! People are everywhere! Every time you walk out the door you have a good chance of meeting someone new! Here are a few places…Grocery Shopping, Getting Gas, At a Coffee Shop, While Shopping, In a Books Store, Standing in Line, Your Waiter or Waitress, Clerk at the check out!
#2 Spend More Time Doing “Show and Tell”- The More You Show… The More Your Grow! Being in the presence of a prospect is the highest and best use of your time. It also is the ONE thing that produces RESULTS. The more people you get your message in front of the more your team will grow, your customer base will grow and your residual income will grow. It is simply the name of the game! It is the best ROI (return on investment) you could possibly hope for with your time!
Now as an important side note… Often times I see people that try to explain their product/company on the fly. They are out shopping and bump into a friend in the parking lot. They tell them all about it. Give them samples… Give them literature… and feel they totally scored because they got the word out. But then…. That person never signs up! Wow what a waste! But the truth is, the prospect was never told how!! I am NOT a big fan of this style. It is just not very effective… people don’t sign up! Here is what I highly recommend… Do the FULL SHOW and TELL! If you see someone out and about, tell them you are super excited and you would love to meet up and share what everything is about. Get an appointment and get them in front of 100% of the info so they can make a good quality decision. This is what I mean when I say “show and tell”! Show the plan more often, to more people and you will have more result and more income!
#3 Improve Your Skills– We always need to be “sharpening the saw”. I think Abraham Lincoln really says it best!

#4 Identify Your “Life’s Purpose” and Tie it in To What You Do! What is the difference between the person that “has a job”, the person that “has a career” and the person that is doing “their life’s work”?
A HUGE DIFFERENCE! If you even just reading them. You know intuitively they all have different meanings. A job is short term and your showing up for a paycheck. A career is something that will require some additional training and you hope to get paid well for it. But your “Life’s Work”, well that has an entirely different ring to it! It means you are doing exactly what you want to do. You have been put on this planet to make a difference, to make an impact. And you are doing it each and every day! Right here and right now! When you get grounded. When you do the thing that ties into your life’s purpose; You will never word a day in your life! You will be more happy, more fulfilled and you will be able to help a lot of people in the process! Remember what Jim Rohn said—service to many leads to greatness! Find a way to serve the many, because service to many leads to greatness!
