Here are 6 Key Areas that if you double check where you stand it may reveal what needs to be fixed.
Success Tip #1 “The List”: Everything always comes back to the list! It is the raw material that all business is done from. May times people DO NOT even have a list down on paper! Getting the names down on paper is always the 1st step. It allows you to think more clearly and really get a good look at what you have to work with. Plus it brings to light how many people you have REALLY talked to! Some times it feels like you have talked to everyone, but in reality it is only like 2 or 3!
Success Tip #2 Check Your Calendar: We are looking for activity. Again another area to “get real” with. Are we really putting out as much activity as we think we are? Did we show 3 plans today? This week? Or over the last month? Get real and get clear. It may show us a specific area we need to change. If we don’t have enough numbers on the board, how can we expect to see results.
Success Tip #3 Check Your Posture: This is so big! Are we chasing our prospects? Are we begging them to join? Or do they feel like they will miss out if they are not part of our team? If your posture is week it may literally be repelling people from you!
Success Tip #4 Check Your Word Choice: Are we using “inside lingo on the out side world”? Are we going overboard and confusing our prospects by talking about upline, downline, stacking, break aways, overflow, power legs… And anything else you can think of! What you are saying may seem second nature to us, but it we may be speaking Greek to our prospects!
Success Tip #5 Are You Stirring the Emotions: This is a BIG One! If you are doing the actions, you have your list, you are putting the numbers on the board, and still no one joins—Perhaps we are not painting the picture 100%. Remember people buy based on emotion. Are we stirring up the emotions when we share? Remember the more passion, excitement and vision you can share—The Better! And when you do, something will ignite on the inside of them causing them to want to say YES!
Success Tip #6 Sense of Urgency: This is huge! If people have no reason they feel they should join today—they won’t. Make sure you paint a sense of urgency with your prospects.
