There’s One Huge Myth About Network Marketing and it’s run rampant throughout society. Many times people think that if they want a really large team, that they need to sponsor hundreds and hundreds of people. So not true! You don’t need to sponsor the world! Just a handful of good ones!
In fact the majority of your top leaders you will find will not be the people that you were directly sponsor. You find them through people, who bring in people. So what should you do and how do you find the “right ones”?
Remember this phrase because it will serve you very well… “If you bring in Quality, They Will Bring You Quantity” What does that mean exactly? If you bring in good quality people, those with leadership skills, business skills, people that have some “get up and go”. People that got it going on anyways! If you bring in people of quality and people of influence, then they will bring you quantity! You don’t need to focus on the masses. The masses will come by a default of sponsoring quality people.
3 Tips to Finding “Quality People”
#1 Sponsor Up. On a scale of one to ten, if one is a broke lazy person and ten is the most successful person you know. Let’s just say you fall somewhere in the middle. Let’s say you’re a five or six. Your goal is to sponsor people at your income level, your ambition level, and above! That means don’t be talking to the 1’s, 2’s, 3’s and 4’s. You want to go to the people that are more intimidating. You know the ones! LOL! The ones that make your palms sweat. They give you butterflies in your stomach. Those are the right ones!
#2 Don’t Prejudge. This is key! Now you want to prequalify. But not prejudge. What’s prejudging? When you know someone and they’re very successful and they already make a lot of money, or have a great business, or they just “got it going on” in general. Oftentimes it’s easy to prejudge this people thinking they are not looking for an opportunity and therefore you do not talk to them. Never prejudge. Those are usually the best ones that could come in to your team and blow it up! Now we do want to prequalify. What is pre-qualifying? If you show them what it is and they like it, would they have the money to get started should they like what they see? Very important! You don’t want to spend your time showing a bunch of people that wouldn’t have the financial means to start.
#3 Don’t Be Attached To The Outcome. This is very important. Network marketing is much more emotional then it is logical. What we do isn’t difficult. Sharing our story, playing a video, sharing the product. Not difficult stuff. The emotional game is the part you have to focusing on mastering. So do not be attached to the outcome. You are in the business of sorting you’re looking for the people that are looking for you. If you show someone and they “get it”… fabulous! If you show someone and they “don’t get it”… fabulous! Either way you’re in the business of sorting. If they join or not, either way is ok! Don’t get so hung up on any one person. If you go through your numbers and you will stack the odds in your favor, never will any one person make or break your business. Watch this video to hear more on these things…
