Here We Are Again! It’s time to make that final lap around the track and bring the team home! It’s time to rank up, and earn those bonus checks! So let’s talk about some strategy for how to close out the month!
Here we are and it is the middle of the month. This is the time when you really need to get your thinking cap on and get focused on how you’re going to help your team closeout. Many times people wait to the very last second… the last 2 or 3 days and then they get pressed for time.
It’s Important That You Start Now! How do you do it? Start by going into your back office and pulling the numbers of the people in your organization. You’re looking for people that have 25 to 30% of the points needed to rank up to the next level. For example if the next level requires 3000 points, you are looking for people that already have 800 or 1000+ on the board. Those are the people you should be talking to.
A Common Misconception… is that people think that the month works linearly. It doesn’t! Just because you’re halfway through the month does not mean you will have half your points. Furthermore there are hundreds and hundreds of people who get all of their points in at the last minute.
The 4 Step Close Out Strategy
Step #1: Identify Your Runners. You are checking for life in your business! Who are the people who have some get up and go inside of them!
Step #2: Help Them See What is Possible. Since you are the leader it’s your job to cast the vision! Often times when somebody is told that they can do something — they will go for it. Remember your team will pick up whatever you believe is possible.
If you believe that they can qualify for the next level and rank on up. They will too! If you tell them that they can do it, and you help them get there, then they’ll usually go for it! But if we just leave things to chance… or we don’t help them at all —then they’ll just kind of continue on at a lackadaisical pase.
Step #3: Help Them Set a Goal. Obviously our focus on closing out the month is ranking up. So help them set the goal of ranking up of whatever that might be.
Or, on the other hand if they are not anywhere close to their next rank advancement, helped them get focused on getting some wins! Help them build some momentum. This might be by earning a bonus check for registering a new customer or new business partner, or perhaps maybe winning a contest. Just help them get some wins on the board.
Step #4: Put a Plan in Place. There are two types of people that you will have in your team…
Person Number One— is the type of person that either just got started, or maybe they’ve been in a little while but they do not have people underneath them. You will have lots of people like that in your organization. What is the game plan for them??
Well they need to get down and dirty with the basics. They need to make their list of names. Then they need to start contacting people and getting in front of them. The idea is to go rapid fire! Sharing what you have with a lot of people in a short period of time to build some momentum in the team.
Person Number Two— is the type of person that does already have a team of people underneath them. So what’s the plan? You’re going to contact the people in your organization and help them launch their people. (the same steps we did for person number one) Launching the New Recruits is one of the most underrated things network marketing! However, that is the biggest way to create growth, momentum, and duplication your business. New people are the lifeblood of the business! And what do they possess that we want. Contacts! Contacts are the raw material for building any network marketing business. It’s the contacts that they have, that will not only build a business for them, but also for you as well!
