Have You Ever Wondered Why Calling Some Prospects Just Doesn’t Work? So you start off… you make your list. You put everyone down. Then you start by connecting with your “A Players” people that you think would be phenomenal if they joined your team. Some of the people you have are people that you’re close to and talk to all the time. But some are people that you haven’t talked to in quite a while. Have you ever wondered why when you reach out to call them they don’t pick up the phone? Has it ever happened to you? Or is it just me! LOL!
Brand New? Now if your brand new to network marketing, this probably doesn’t apply to you. You can touch base with these people and they will take your call, or they will call you back. If that is you—fabulous! Then you want to touch base and go through the F.O.R.M. method. Not sure what that is? Watch the video below for more details on that!
Seasoned Network Marketer But, if you’re like most people, and perhaps you’ve already done network marketing before this might be a problem. They won’t call you back! Why? They know why you’re calling! LOL!
If you’ve done network marketing before, they already have a heads up that that is probably one of the reasons you might be reaching out to them. So if calling doesn’t work what then? How do you connect otherwise?
The “Soft Connection”. Well one of my favorite ways is to start by making a “Soft Connection”. What’s that? It’s by connecting with them via Facebook Message or text.
Example Prospecting Scripts So if you’re sending a Facebook message, you may say something like:
“Hey _______! I saw you come up in my newsfeed. It’s been forever! How are you?”
You want to start by making a connection with them on a personal level first. Its even better if you comment on something they have on their wall. “I see you just took a trip. How was the vacation!” You want to make this “Soft Connection” and then from there you can take it to business.
Text Connection Script:
One of the things you can also say, is
“Hey _________! How are you? It has been ages! I have something I’m working on that made me think of you… What’s going on in your world now a days? Are you still working at_________” OR “How are the kids? I bet they are huge now!” Something like that is a great way to reconnect with people.
Response Times. Now what you will find is some people will respond right away, and others may take awhile to get back to you. Your goal is just to have enough irons in the fire so that it doesn’t matter when they contact you back. You always have plenty of good stuff going on! Watch this video for more details on this…
